The Chronicles of Riddick were far more intense and enjoyable than anything previously in the series. I loved the performances from Dame Judi Dench to Alexa Davalos to Colm Feore (a secret guilty pleasure of mine for quite some time now). I love the effects and the crazy blend of messiah and conan the barbarian mythology. And then we come to Karl Urban, of late he has managed to be in every SciFi Fantasy film that I have truly enjoyed, hurling himself headfirst into the mythos. I love to curl up with some knitting and cruise thru the evening with this on in the background.
